What this site does

Meticulous Archive is a map-first way to find Magic: The Gathering events and the local game stores that host them. Search a city, pan the map, open a store’s profile, and see what’s coming up — RCQs, prereleases, weekly locals. Bookmark the events you care about, see them on a calendar, and plan your season around them.

Why it exists

Competitive Magic lost its central event listing in 2026, and the schedule scattered. Store pages, social posts, and organizer spreadsheets each hold a part of it, and none of them holds all of it. Players now check several sources to answer one question: what is near me, and when.

Meticulous Archive answers that question in one place. It gathers RCQs, prereleases, and weekly locals onto a single map, so your next event is easy to find.

What we’re focused on

The goal is simple: Magic players deserve an easy way to find, bookmark, and plan their attendance at RCQs and locals. Everything here — the map, the store profiles, the bookmarks, the calendar — exists in service of getting you to your next event with as little friction as possible.
